Each first week of the month you’ll find this series featuring an exploration of various lifestyles that I feel have emerged as on-trend. Some may come and go- based on the current fashions- so stay tuned and keep me honest here. (I hate being last-season!!)
A place to click for tile fun, design fun, or just plain fun. These posts will be a break for you (and for me) from all the info. Who wants to have to learn something all the time? Here is where I hope that in each second week of the month you can sit back, relax and have a chuckle.
This was the inspiration that started it all. Wandering around the globe, I’ve seen many a tile that has left me with a serious case of tile envy. Different cultures, different talents and different trends are amongst some of the reasons for our diverse world of tiles. And envy- well isn’t that how any one in any industry challenges themselves- by checking out the best of the best? Hoping that each 3rd week of the month this back story will be as interesting for you to read as it has been for me to experience.
OK- last post of every month all you have to do is click once- and you’ll have clicked onto nearly every bit of tile news that can be found that month! How cool is that? I suppose only cool if you’re a tile nerd. But don’t let that keep you from logging on!! Be there AND be square!!
This section (and the TECHNICAL section) will be alternate features whenever there is a fifth week in a month. In this Industry section I’ll feature little tidbits of various tile industry trends, issues, challenges, etc. It will basically be my soapbox about needed changes in our industry or a place to discuss interesting changes that are already happening in the tile world.
In the Technical section- I will include as many technical insights for tile and tile installations as possible. The idea here is to take some of the “mystery” out of the very “mysterious” process of tile installation and uses. Don’t be afraid- just come here and see or ask for anything you need to know about tile and installation and if I don’t know – I’ll get you to the right friends!! Yippee, tile help!!
Hopefully, hearing from me once a week won’t send you running for the hills! And for you die-hard fans (thanks mom & dad) sorry it’s not more.
