Who am I?
Long time tile designer inspired by the rich history of tiles and the fashion world.
What do I do?
I’ve owned and operated my own tile businesses (manufacturer, designer, curator) for a very long time. I started when 4 1/4″ white tiles were all the rage. Lots has changed since way back then. My current company, Tilevera, offers all sorts of hand made, and painted tiles – from custom to Moroccan, and modern to our recent creation of Hearst Castle Collection by Tilevera.
Why this blog?
I realized I was spending a lot of time talking about tile to clients, personnel, friends, myself… Then I thought, if I could tell more than one person at a time- I wouldn’t be straining my voice or sounding like a salesperson or even worse- a tile politician. Instead, maybe I could post a daily blog about all my tile “musings”.
